Very Liberal Schauer Voted for Taxpayer Funding of Abortion
Tipton, MI- Tim Walberg’s campaign today announced he received the endorsement of Eagle Forum PAC. Eagle Forum has been leading the pro-family movement since 1972. Eagle Forum President Phyllis Schlafly made the following statement:
“The differences between Tim Walberg and his very liberal opponent are clear. During Tim's time in the U.S. House of Representatives and Michigan House, he was a strong pro-family, pro-life leader. He led the fight in Michigan to end taxpayer funding of abortion, fought to define marriage as between one man and one woman, and in Congress was a tireless advocate for economic freedom and national security. His opponent, very liberal first-term Congressman Mark Schauer, voted for taxpayer funding of abortion, opposed making English our official language, voted in favor of driver's licenses for illegal aliens, and voted to increase our national debt by trillions of dollars.
